When it comes to wedding photos, it’s very hard to beat a beach as gorgeous as the ones on AMI. 

The powdery white sand and the blue-green waters of the Gulf make this location picture-perfect. Literally.

My goal is to capture not just the beauty of the ocean, but the real, raw emotions of your day, perfectly candid, exactly as they unfolded.

As we photograph your wedding, our goal is simple - to capture each and every moment, as naturally as possible, to help you relive these moments again in the future.

This is mostly done through digital photography. But we like to have a little fun and mix in some 35mm film photos, as well.

Not only that, but we offer Super 8 wedding films, too, for a perfectly imperfect movie to capture the most important moments of the day.

I'm a natural light photographer that likes to capture photos and moments as they happen, keeping photos as authentic as possible.

Even as the sun starts to set, I prefer to use the natural light that is given to us (which is gorgeous at sunset on Anna Maria).

I don't bring any artificial light, and I don't alter the colors/lighting too dramatically in the editing process. I want these photos to be timeless and natural, which means natural light + minimal editing that preserves the vibe of the actual day.

Our Photography Style

Anna Maria Island is one of the best beach wedding destinations in the US. The beaches are made up of white, powdery sand that is oh-so-soft to the touch. Having your ceremony in the sand will feel like a dream come true. 

Plus, the beaches of Anna Maria face the west, so if your wedding is in the late afternoon, the sun will start setting and the lighting will be breathtaking as you say your vows and take bride and groom photos afterward.

The pavilion is all open air, just steps away from the Gulf of Mexico. And of course, you can hold your ceremony in the sand, with the water behind you as you recite your vows.

The Sunset Deck is located at Beach House Waterfront Restaurant. This is another dream location, with a covered reception area with air-conditioning, perfect for early and late in the season when the temperatures start to climb.
